- The demo console was compromised through a known Next.js vulnerability (CVE-2025-66478) on an image we had not patched, and ran a cryptominer for twelve days. The console became unreachable rather than serving anything wrong; the API, the evidence store and the signing key were not affected, and every proof issued still verifies. The secrets the console held were rotated and it was rebuilt on a patched release the day we found it. We had no external alerting, and this page reported the outage as healthy because its probe did not read the answer. Both are fixed.
A young product with a short history is not the same as one with a clean history. Incidents are recorded here when they happen, in these words.
